Edward J. McNany – President

Ed McNany is currently the Security Operation & Intelligence Center (SOIC) Coordinator for the State of New Jersey Department of Childres and Families.

Ed previously was a Security Coordinator at the School District of the Chathams a retired Detective/Sergeant with the Springfield, NJ Police Department.

Ed’s lifetime commitment to the community has provided him with opportunities of member ship in numerous volunteer service organizations over the years, which include:

Michael O. McNany – Vice President

Michael McNany is a graduate of St. James the Apostle School and Jonathan Dayton High School in Springfield.

For Mike, the community in which he was raised holds a special place in his heart.

His career kept him in the place he calls “home”, where he became a police officer with the Springfield Police Department retiring at the rank of Lieutenant in 2014.

Mike currently works as the Security Supervisor at the Canoe Brook County Club in Summit, NJ

Rita M. McNany – Secretary

Rita McNany graduated from the David Brearley High School in Kenilworth and is a Dale Carnegie Graduate

Rita is currently the Parking Services Director for the City of Summit, NJ since 1999 as well as serving as the City’s Public Information Officer from 1999 until 2015 as well as the City’s webmaster.

Rita is a current member of Summit’s Emergency Management Team certified in many Emergency Management Coursework. Assisted the City through Hurricane Sandy and facilitated 9.11 Memorial Vigils for Summit residents lost on September 11, 2001.

Over the years, Rita has served on Local communities boards including the Springfield Recreation Committee and worked to gain community support and funding for the first turf field as well as the Minutemen Youth Football Board as Treasurer and Fundraiser chair.

Rita also has extensive experience in running large events and banquets for over 1,000 attendees

Rita is also a member of the Springfield Elks Lodge #2004 serving as the past Lodge Hall Rental, Scholarships and Website Coordinator
